Renovations

We have been working hard on saving money for washroom renovations.

We received a grant that has enabled us to have the last of the money needed, so during the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, we have had contractors on site getting those renovations completed.

New Offices

As of May 2020 Alzheimers Society of Manitoba has their office located in the Herman Prior Activity Centre. This will make it nice and accessible, especially when the Minds in Motion program starts up again. Stay tuned!

As of September 2019 Sunset Palliative Care now has their office located in the Herman Prior Centre. Come by and see them.

Other Goals

  • To create 2 offices and one small boardroom/family room for funerals at the north end of the auditorium
  • A hood fan for our stove in the back kitchen.
  • A smartboard
  • Operational funds to keep a program director past our current grant.
  • Installing a door to connect the Library with us.
  • We would also like to offer a “Digital Literacy” course/advisor one on one if possible.
