|About the presentation:|
The care and support received by someone living with disease, disability, or frailty due to aging is largely dependent on family caregivers. This presentation will examine the extraordinary tensions surrounding the caregiving role during the COVID-19 pandemic. Various perspectives of the caregiving role, including caregivers’ rights and responsibilities, will be discussed, and implications for caregivers and the broader health and social systems will be considered.

The Arts and Crafts show, Nov 6 and 7th has been cancelled due to Covid restrictions
Remembrance Day, will be outside this year at the cenotaph by the Post Office. Oldford said, “We’ve applied for permission to close the eastbound lanes on Saskatchewan Avenue from First Street right through Tupper Street to allow the public to practice social distancing, and we’re recommending the wearing of masks. Certain restrictions have been placed, so we’re actually going to pre-lay all the wreaths ahead of time at the cenotaph at about 10:30 in the morning.
The next Coffee house was scheduled for Nov 28th 1-3pm, but with Code Red COVID restrictions in place until December 10th, it will need to be cancelled.
